Ripe, fragrant strawberries simmered down into luscious, thick compote, outside Nantes in north-west France. We love this on buttered toast or muesli in the morning. Perfect with chocolate puddings, sandwiched in a Victoria sponge, & spooned over scones spread with clotted cream, for a divine afternoon tea. We believe organic is better for our health, our animals and for the environment; and of course always tastes better.
