Rose's Lime Juice Cordial 1L

by Rose's
£5.09 GBP

L. Rose first imported lime juice from the West Indies in the 1860's. Trade thrived because merchant ships were compelled to carry lime or lemon juice. Lauchlan Rose devised a method for preserving juice without alcohol and so he invented the world's first concentrated fruit drink.

Not what it was

I bought this as a mixer for gin which I used to have a while ago. Sadly the formulation seems to have changed for the worst. Where before it was bright and naturally “limey”, it now tastes very artificial.
